I am delighted when I see you post and so enjoyed this post.

You really made me laugh with your thoughts on monkeys. I was in India on a tiger safari (photographic only!) five years ago and I was afraid of a monkey falling into our jeep and becoming very agitated.

I am so glad that Margaret is feeling better and am keeping her in my prayers for good health. My prayers are with Beth, too. I've had the task of settling my mother's things and apartment when she died and it was difficult and so sad.

As an aside, when I lived in Nashville I was a volunteer at a clinic for children with spina bifida almost forty years ago.

Take good care, sweet friend and know that hugs are flying across the Atlantic!Buttercuphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03804094230127512943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-744849393992610970.post-71679023763392781012011-05-23T22:04:34.327+01:002011-05-23T22:04:34.327+01:00Great to see a post from you Sybil ,Have they chan...Great to see a post from you Sybil ,Have they changed the Elephants name I understood she was called Ann ,and it wasnt actually the circus ill treating her but a helper ,The Roberts who own the circus were heart broken and horified when they saw the footage. How lovely to have good friends to stay ,and all the fun trips ,I do agree I wouldnt want to go into the monkey enclosure either,it would be quite scary I would think ....love Jan xxJanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13887084136241374777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-744849393992610970.post-27871638927418804922011-05-23T11:40:36.946+01:002011-05-23T11:40:36.946+01:00How wonderful to come on line and find this cheery...How wonderful to come on line and find this cheery news letter from you. All very enjoyable as well. So glad you have had a nice visit with your friend and getting reaquainted with each other. Good times! I love animal safari parks, but like you, I am not fond of the monkeys. They are so destructive and actually I find them quite frightening. Will keep your sister in my prayers and hoping she recovers completely. How scary. Praying also that you will be finished sorting the house soon and that it will sell quickly. Love and hugs to you all the way from gloomy, windy, rainy Chester! xxooMarie Raynerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00407913432222377267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-744849393992610970.post-81538278020388692642011-05-23T01:42:32.842+01:002011-05-23T01:42:32.842+01:00You have had a busy time of it but it's so nic...You have had a busy time of it but it's so nice that most of it was good times. It is a hard time to be selling a house in our part of the world too. I guess it is the same all over so I'm hoping things go well there on that count. We finally had a good weekend here with no rain so it was lovely for me to get and about too. You've made up for it with this entry! I visited Longleat a very long time ago - back in the late 70s. I know someone who has had to clear out a relative's house, and it was a lorry job. Except that lorries could not come down their track (half a mile), so it was vanloads.ADBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17737746983905368038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-744849393992610970.post-60823722531093813742011-05-22T20:55:39.682+01:002011-05-22T20:55:39.682+01:00Lovely entry today Sybs. Don't know if I ever told you, but many years ago, my Dad paid to have his family tree researched. he went back as far as 1666 ( when many records were destroyed by the great fire )- and guess what? His side of the family is related to the then Lord Bath ( out of wedlock I might add ). Sadly I have never been to Longleat - but it is on my wish list. Hope to see you posting more Sybs...always enjoy follwing your events. Much love, Sal xxSalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14622900968546891245noreply@blogger.com
