Hello Friends,
I am back again after a difficult week or two after the funeral which went as well as they can do. There were over 150 people there and many fine tributes were paid to John. So now we must try to pick ourselves up again and start a new phase in our lives.
These three weeks inbetween have been busy ones as my dear Sister Sarah, John's wife, became increasingly poorly after the funeral and the following week was admitted into hospital where she still is. However the good news is that she will be home on Monday and we will all be so happy. Sarah has a breathing condition called CPOD and her breathing became much worse, this resulted in her becoming so unwell that she hardly had any strength however she is on the mend now and after a few weeks recovering at home with extra oxygen and some help I am sure she will slowly recover.
As I say these last three weeks or so have been busy...mainly visiting hospital, shopping, etc. so I have no "real" news. Just wanted to pop in to let ou know that soon I hope to be back to more regular blogging.
Thank you all for understanding....love Sybil
LOVE ONE ANOTHER

ReplyDeleteI do hope your sister is much improved and can return home where she can fully recover. You both have been under so much stress, you should both rest at home and feel better. I know the reality of John's passing hasn't settled in your hearts yet, but it will in time.
ReplyDeleteAs always you are all in my heart and prayers Sybil. This has been a difficult and unsettling time for you all. I am praying that things gradually become easier and your sister is feeling much better soon. Thank goodness for the comfort our faith brings during these trials of life. ((((hugs)))) xxoo

Sybil, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your sister's husband. I haven't been by here in quite awhile, so I hadn't heard. I hope your sister and the family are all doing well, and YOU take care of YOU, too!! Keeping you all in prayer.
ReplyDeleteSo good to see you posting. Keeping all of you, and especially Sarah's health in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteHoney you have been on my mind so much this past month. Just wish we lived closer so I could help you and your sister. That is sad that she has had to be in the hospital on top of loosing her John. I know that this has been a horrible time for you both.
ReplyDeleteI am over here in Texas praying for you two.
Today I was talking to Gretchen about you the writer that moved out here on the property. She is going to London in the next week or so if she can get a flight. She flys stand by. Her first plan was to visit Oxford but now I think she has decided on the University there in London. Wants me to go with her in 2012 and take creative writing. Can you imagine being able to do that.
How far are you from London? I told her my dream is to meet you one day.
Know that I am thinking and praying for you dear lady
Maggie
How are you all doing now dear? You are in my heart and prayers. Hugs, Lura
ReplyDelete(((((Sybil)))) <---big hugs. I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. And to have Sarah in the hospital on top of that. I know this is a hard time. Praying for you. Thank you for commenting on my blog. It's been a hard time lately but I think everyone wants it all to work out. I am sorry I'm not hear more for you all to read blog entries. I end up playing games to get away for a while. But I sooooo enjoy coming and reading. I hope you will be back to blogging more soon. Take care and much love, from Tennessee. Tell Sarah we are praying for her. Does she have a blog? Maybe she should if not! :-)
